The villanous lizard by Sneiks The villanous lizard by Sneiks
Made some fan art of Star vs the forces of evil! TOFFEE !!
This is by far my favorite character from the cartoon and probably my favorite cartoon villain ever (Bill Cypher from Gravity falls is the only real match for him).
I want to know what you think about the style? I'm thinking of using a similar style for my comic.
And yes, I'm back.
Also, I can't believe how many Star vs the forces of evil tags are there.

I like the way you used the brush to colour him. And nice cold expression and pose.

Could you draw a romantic pic of Toffee and I? Please? :3

Oh Jezus Christ.
I dunno.
I'm not really a fan of romantic stuff. Also, I can't draw humans.
(Also I don't feel like drawing another toffee)

If you comission me, I'd be able to do something. (I need 800 points for extending my core)
If you want it as a request, you'll have to wait till I (if I'll ever) feel like it.
Look, this is 3 hours of work, sorry : P

How have I never heard of this series before... what is wrong with me...
Gonna have to get to it in the near future.
As for the style you used here, its amazing :D
But it makes me worry how good it will work for you in comic book form. Since you will be drawing a LOT of it and you will have backgrounds and the rest to keep in mind. You can probably pull it off, and it would look pretty unique, just it seems it might pose a challenge in the long run.

The series is awesome, I thought of it as "girly" at the start but when I watched it for a bit longer it got really good. The characters especially are amazing.
If you're gonna take a look (and I sure hope you will) PLEASE let me know what you think of it. ; P
Also, if I was going to use a style like this in a comic, it'll probably be a bit less "worked out".
This picture took me about 1-2 hours.

I think the world is all out of "girly" shows these days. There ain't that much of it yet, so, It seems worth getting into.
That's exactly why I pointed it out, since if you took a couple of hours per panel... that wouldn't work :D

Couple of hours per panel seem pretty fine to me, actually.
Also, the show is not girly at all. Yes, the main character is a princess with a magic wand that shoots pink ponies at her enemies.
The stereotypical girly theme. But they manage to make it awesome. Check it out, I highly recommend it.
Again, I thought it was girly when I started watching it, but after all the episodes girly is not a word I'd use anymore.

If you have the time to spare, sure. Just, you know, spending 10+ hours on one page... is probably how much I spend on mine, now that I think about it... with all the sketching, planning and now polishing :/
So I have no right to but in. Even though I know that for example, some manga artists have to draw like... several pages a day to keep up with their deadlines, so those few hours per panel are quite a lot :D
Well, what I meant with that sentence was that I don't think a show can really count as girly anymore in today's society. You could call Steven Universe girly too, or My Little Pony, but the fans wouldn't let you get away with it :D

Ok, I find My little pony EXTREMELY girly, all fans aside.
Not SU tho.

Also, I polish most of the stuff in my head while doing chores, walking, sitting in class etc. (even tho I bump my head into stuff a lot it's still worth it).

Some of that polish doesn't quite come into play until you actually put it on paper and realized there is more to it. I am sure  you know from animation, since similar principles apply, just you don't have as much room to keep the action clear to the reader.
Looking forward to it :D

Thanks!
Probably starting it somewhere from march to june, probably around april.
The story is far from done, but the characters and the major plot twists are (mostly) fleshed out. The characters are a lot different, personality and look have changed quite a lot.
(Also, I dunno why the wizard (sourem) was always smiling, he was supposed to be the grumpy, sarcastic one)
